TRANSPORTATION ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Alvan Motor Freight has an excellent opportunity for a sales professional based in South Bend, IN. Knowledgeable of the transportation industry and the central Indiana markets preferred. College degree preferred. Successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships to accomplish revenue goals within their assigned territory and maximize growth. Qualified candidate will be self-motivated with strong closing skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment required. Driver/Dock
Drivers are home each day. A qualified candidate must have valid CDL with Haz-Mat and air brake endorsements, a history of safe driving, and a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience. Candidate must meet all DOT requirements and a physical capability evaluation.
Positions available in - MICHIGAN: Grand Rapids, Saginaw, and Kalamazoo. INDIANA: Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and South Bend. OHIO: Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Toledo
Part-time Billing Clerk
Part-time Billing Clerk for Toledo facility.
Responsible for answering phones, entering data, generating freight bills,
manifests, and other documents. Provide general office support. Wednesday
evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on call for other evenings. No
weekends. Must have excellent customer service skills, be familiar with
bills of lading and trucking terms, excellent keyboarding and 10 key
ability. Familiarity with AS 400 system preferred. High school diploma or
